Thank you for such a well-thought-out reflection on my book. I do appreciate readers. It sounds like you are both a reader and one who likes to listen to your books as well. So many only want it recorded. You will be happy to know that I am recording it at the moment. Not sure when we will be done. I am using my own voice, so I had to wait to get a local studio to record it in. We start next week. I will try to let you know when it is available. Send me your email so I can let you know.

Love & Blessings,

Kalie

Breaking Free From the Inner Critic by Kalie Marino is an inspiring and insightful guide to understanding the negative inner voice that many people struggle with every day. Marino explains how constant self-criticism develops and how it can affect our emotions, relationships, and overall well-being.

Through practical wisdom and her “Four Steps to Freedom,” the book offers readers a path to quiet the inner critic and transform it into a more supportive inner voice. Thoughtful, encouraging, and easy to follow, this book is a meaningful read for anyone seeking personal growth, emotional balance, and a more compassionate relationship with themselves.

Just finished reading Breaking Free from the Inner Critic by Kalie Marino, and wow, it really opened my eyes to how much our inner voice affects everything from addiction to social struggles. The book is clear, compassionate, and really makes you reflect. I’d love to see an audiobook version too, it’d be amazing to listen to this while on the go!

I recently read your book Breaking Free from the Inner Critic and found the ideas about self-talk really helpful. One suggestion I had was that more real-life examples might help readers apply the exercises more easily.

Thank you for writing this book—it helped me reflect on my own inner dialogue.

I recently purchased and read Breaking Free from the Inner Critic: The Underlying Cause of All Addictions & Social Problems by Kalie Marino, and I found it to be an incredibly eye-opening and insightful book.

The author does a remarkable job explaining how the inner critic shapes our behaviors, emotions, and even our addictions. What really stood out to me was how clearly the book connects everyday struggles, such as self-doubt, criticism, and emotional conflict, to a deeper psychological pattern that many of us are not even aware of. The concept that criticism can become a “social disease” passed from person to person is both powerful and thought-provoking.

I especially appreciated the practical guidance offered through the “Four Steps to Freedom.” The approach feels realistic and empowering, helping readers recognize their inner critic and gradually transform it into a more supportive inner voice. The metaphors used throughout the book, like not being able to brew good coffee in a dirty pot, make complex ideas easy to understand and remember.

Another thing I enjoyed is how the author blends storytelling, wisdom, and reflection to guide readers toward inner peace and gratitude. It’s the kind of book that not only makes you think deeply about your own patterns but also gives you tools to change them.

This is a meaningful and transformative read that I would recommend to anyone interested in personal growth, emotional healing, or understanding the deeper roots of addiction and self-criticism.

One question I had after finishing the book: Is there an audiobook version available? I would love to listen to it as well and share it with friends who prefer audiobooks.

Thank you for writing such a powerful and enlightening book.
